Pyroplex Hard Seals provide a permanent seal for fire rated timber and metal door edges and frames. They are suitable for rebates in timber door leafs or frames or the surface of metal door leafs or frames in single and double action, single or double doors. Pyroplex Hard Seals are ideal for new build and retro-fit applications.

Pyroplex Hard Seals are supplied in 2.1m lengths as standard and are quick and easy to fit as no special tools are required. They are supplied with an acrylic self adhesive tape backing to make application as easy as possible.

All Pyroplex Hard Seals are tested to BS476 Part 22:1987 and other International standards.

Product Testing

The Pyroplex range of hard seals have been extensively tested in the UK, Europe and worldwide, to national and international standards.

Installation Instructions
1. Select the appropriate seal using the door test evidence, which will identify the size intumescent seal required.
2. Route a groove suitable for the size of intumescent seal selected. Clean the rebate to remove any dust. Remove the release liner from the product and push fit into the routed
groove.
3. To achieve excellent adhesion seals must be applied to clean, dry surfaces at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
