Pyroplex® Pressure Exerting Sealant is an intumescent based sealant that expands multi directionally when exposed to elevated temperatures, exerting pressure to seal and prevent the passage of fire and smoke through service penetrations.

Pyroplex® Pressure Exerting Sealant has been specifically designed for:

• Internal use only.
• Sealing around small bore plastic flammable pipes up to 55mm in diameter, including PVC, PE, PP and ABS.
• Sealing around metallic services including partial penetrations.
• Sealing around single and bunched cable tray applications.

It is ideal for use around small pipes where it is not possible to fit a Pyroplex® Pipe Collar or a Pyroplex® Pipe Wrap. Pyroplex® Pressure Exerting Sealant is tested to BS EN 1366-3: 2009 and has a European Classification EI240 in accordance with BS EN 13501-2: 2007 + A1: 2009.

Eurostrip has been designed to combine performance, aesthetics and quality into an easy to install fire containment system. This combination makes Eurostrip Ideal for use on insulated and non insulated steel fire resisting doorsets.

On exposure to heat Eurostrip will expand to form a fire resisting seal between the door and frame to contain the spread of fire and minimise smoke transfer.

The Pyroplex® Glazing Global Assessment covers leading manufacturers insulating and non-insulating glazing systems incorporating large aspect ratios across a range of timber door constructions. The Pyroplex® Glazing Global Assessment covers the complete range of Pyroplex® FG30 solutions and has increased the scope of approval for 8193- Pyroplex’s leading 30 minute U Channel glazing solution.

This Glazing Global Assessment compliments the Door Global Assessment that summarises the scope of application for Pyroplex® FD30 and FD60 door solutions when fitted in proprietary fire resisting doorsets and is based on the associated test data.

The Pyroplex Safex range was launched earlier this year and provides an effective fire and smoke seal for use in timber and metal fire door sets. The Safex range of seals are surface mounted and suitable for use in single action single doorsets and can provide up to 60 minute fire resistance.
The introduction of this system extends our existing range of products that are suitable for use in metal doorsets. Furthermore it provides a fire, smoke and acoustic seal that is suitable for new and retro-fit applications.

Pyroplex Triple Flipper’s three flipper technology not only provides an integral flipper when used with ironmongery but also provides enhanced performance in relation to Fire, Smoke, Acoustics and Durability.

The Pyroplex Triple Flipper is manufactured as a single component using thermal fusion to ensure the flippers will not detach under the wear and tear of everyday use. TPV high performance polymer flippers also provide a low surface coefficient reducing opening and closing forces.

Pyroplex Triple Flipper Seal is tested to BS476 Part 22: 1987 in relation to fire resistance and BS476: Part 31.1: 1983 for smoke performance. Pyroplex Triple Flipper has also achieved an acoustic rating of Rd 32 dB when tested in accordance with BS ISO 140-3.

The FD90 System has been designed for use in fire rated timber door edges and frames. The system is suitable for use in single action, single leaf, fire resistant pedestrian doorset assemblies that require 90 minute fire resistance. In addition the FD90 System is ideal for use within both new build and retrofit applications.

The introduction of this system extends our existing timber fire door range and allows us to offer a range of 30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute systems for use in a wide range of leading door manufacturer’s door assemblies.

The Pyroplex Glazing Screen range has undergone a rigorous testing programme and achieved the requirements set out in BS476: Part22: 1987. They have also been awarded third party approval through satisfying the requirements outlined in CERTIFIRE TS25.

In addition the CERTIFIRE Certificates for the Pyroplex 30 minute Glazing Systems have been consolidated into CERTIFIRE Certificate of Approval No CF 348 which now covers all our 30 minute glazing products, (8193, 30049, 30054 and 8492).

The scope of approval has also been extended through the inclusion of toughened soda lime glass, Pyrotech 630. This means that our 30 minute glazing systems now have a maximum aperture area of 0.76Sq.m. In addition the inclusion of toughened soda lime glass it means that our 30 minute glazing systems do not require a hardwood liner (except where specifically required in the door certificate).

In addition the scope of approval for Pyroplex ‘30049’ Glazing System has also been extended. The maximum aperture area for Pyrosheild Safety Glass has now been increased from 0.45Sq.m to 0.67Sq.m.

Our Pipe Collars have been specifically designed to re-instate the fire resistance of a wall or floor that has been penetrated by services such as plastic flammable pipes used in soil, waste and drainage services.

Pyroplex pipe collars seal closed flammable pipes from 25mm to 400mm diameter and can be face fixed or set-in to a wall or ceiling structure. They have been used in a number of high profile projects throughout the world and are suitable for use on concrete, masonry and plasterboard partitions.
