The Pyroplex Safex Seals provide an effective fire, smoke and acoustic seal for use in metal doorsets. In addition to the use of high performance Pyroplex intumescent material, both the Safex 20s and Safex 12s incorporate a polyurethane flipper which exhibits low closing forces, and excellent deflection recovery performance.
Pyroplex Safex Seals are surface mounted and suitable for use in single action single doorsets and can provide up to 60 minute fire resistance. Pyroplex Safex Seals incorporate a high performance acrylic self-adhesive tape, ensuring quick and easy application without the need for specialist tools.
The introduction of this system extends our existing range of products that are suitable for use in metal doorsets. Furthermore it provides a fire and smoke seal that is suitable for new and retro-fit applications.
