Fire Only Intumescent Strips

Pyroplex fire only intumescent strips provide a traditional fire seal for fire-rated timber door edges and frames. Designed for applications where a smoke or acoustic seal is not required, they are suitable for rebates in single and double-action doors, as well as single and double doorsets.

Available in 2.1m lengths as standard and in a choice of six colours, the strips feature an acrylic self-adhesive backing for quick and easy installation without the need for specialist tools.

Pyroplex fire only intumescent strips are available for 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute fire-resistance applications and are tested to BS 476: Parts 20/22 and BS EN 1634-1. They are also compliant with the requirements of Certifire TS35.
