Pyroplex Construction Products EN Classification

The Pyroplex range of construction products have undergone an extensive testing programme which has resulted in our construction range achieving European Classification under EN standards. This has brought huge benefits to both our UK and European Distributors particularly with regards to our 2 hour and 4 hour collars that are now tested to EN13501-2:2007 and BS476 Part20: 1987

Our Pipe Collars have been specifically designed to re-instate the fire resistance of a wall or floor that has been penetrated by services such as plastic flammable pipes used in soil, waste and drainage services.

Pyroplex pipe collars seal closed flammable pipes from 25mm to 400mm diameter and can be face fixed or set-in to a wall or ceiling structure. They have been used in a number of high profile projects throughout the world and are suitable for use on concrete, masonry and plasterboard partitions. Intumescent material is totally unaffected by water, is robust, ‘non-flaking’ and difficult to tear.
